Born and raised in Croatia, my career path started as an engineering student however love towards art and film industry has decided otherwise.
My professional beginnings started with editor’s position. Soon after, I added to my remarkable editing knowledge very valuable skill and I became colorist. It didn’t take long before my curiosity and will to strive made me videographer/photographer and the next logical step was to become who I am today - director. And today, knowing all the steps of the filmmaking process, I utilized the power of the team and collaboration to achieve high level of details and sense of balance in my work. Furthermore, I take pride in my close relationship with copywriters, actors, visual artists and - most of all - my clients.
I have been recognized with multiple awards in the film industry amongst which the most prestigious one comes from Cannes Corporate Media & TV awards where I won the Silver Dolphin for directing "Unveiling New Horizons - Qpost" Corporate Film”. I have directed films for television stations, advertising agencies, the web, internet channels, governments, presidents, Sheikh and Kings. I have filmed around the world but my most successful projects have been made in my home country, in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Denmark.
I have exquisite organizational skills, creativity and ideas are embroidered in my DNA and after more then 25 years of directing short films, corporate films, branded content films, TV series, talk shows, cooking shows, music videos, dramatic documentaries and commercials, I still strive to find the right emotional edge, power, innovation and extraordinary visuals for every project I engage with. I get involved in the development of the story, whether it’s creating the concept from scratch, or refining the idea until it's ready to shoot.
